How do I get Garda Vetted?
Complete an Invitation to Vetting form (NVB 1 form)
Return the form to the school along with proof of identification and proof of address.
The identification is verified by the Principal or Chairperson of the Board of Management who will then forward the application to the Educate Together.
You will then receive a link by email inviting you to complete their online NVB 2 application form.
Where do I get an NVB 1 Form?
Send an email to the school office - info@dlents.ie - and we will put a Garda Vetting form in your child’s school bag. Alternatively, you can download the form by clicking on the following link: Educate Together NVB 1 Vetting Invitation

I was Garda Vetted by the school last year, do I need to be vetted this year again?
No, if you were garda vetted last year, it is still valid for this year.
I am already Garda Vetted through another organisation, do I still need to be vetted by the school?
Yes, even if you are already vetted through another organisation, you still need to fill in the NVB1 form and be vetted again through the school.
